I finally got this shock that I bought and I'm having some questions. I don't know if this is from a different year 250r or not, I hope it will work though. If you look at the tops of these shocks, they are different thicknesses, will that matter or will the bushing interchange? If not, do I need to get a stock new bushing, or will another year work? Also, How do I remove the bushing. T he metal one came out with a hammer, the other one that fills the entire top mounting hole will not come out, I stuck here.

Looks like the size difference is around 3/4 to 1/2 inch

Mine looks the same as the one on the right. However, mine has 2 spacers to make up the gap.

should be a heim type bushing in there with a T- shaped collar on each side to take up the rest of the width. what brand of shock is that?

the guy I bought it from said it was a stock rebuild by derisi racing for a 250r

starting to think it is a Works ultra cross This ebay shock looks exactly like it

well, after a few more minutes of research, I am 99.9% sure that I have a works ultra cross rear shock...which is pretty awesome, because I payed 60 for it thinking it was a stock rebuilt and revalved for my weight. I'm pretty pumped.

Contact Works and they can help you out with a new top spherical brg. and related hardware.

I did get off of that guy, it took him two weeks to ship it, and I thought I got screwed, but I finally got it yesterday.
