i have a ASR "Unbreakable" lever and it is supposed to make the clutch easier to pull but it is very hard to pull. the cable is stock (400ex) and there is no kink in the cable. is there anything i can do to make this easier without spending anymore money?

Do you have a good buddy with a 400EX? Borrow his cable just to see...

try to lube the cable if you didnt already. If that dont work probably needs replaced.

I'm gonna say, clutch cable needing replacement, very heavy of springs or basket is very grooved. Maybe a combination of all three. Replace the cable first, then go to the more expensive things.
