I was riding today for a good 4-5 hours. Didnt leave second gear maybe hit third once or twice. I was reving my motor all day long. towards the end of the day...my buddy noticed blue smoke on decl. I know thats oil burning. This is just my rings correct? I want to order Wesico piston and rings w/ gaskets....Thats all I need. I will do the work my self which is cake. Anybody run into this problem?

yea its probably your rings make sure to get it honed if u get new piston and rings. how much does your oil level drop if its not much i wouldn't worry about it. and if u do take it apart u mide as well get a new timeing chain and tensioner, and valve seals.

your just looking for a excuse to bump up your compression aren't ya :D

and i wouldn't order stock size piston inless you look at it first cause it may need to be bored out.

I got a 11:1 High comp piston so yeah haha..I highly doubt it needs a bore job. If so I can always return it =D

Not as familiar with the EX engine, but in my cars, if it smokes on Decelleration, it is because the high vacuum is pulling it past the valve guides.

Do a compression test and a leak down test also
