Im not sure what it is jetted at now but its not right so I am going to rejet.

You'll get more power with the lid off, but then your filter is exposed to the elements.

I have a uni filter should I be running an outerwear too?

I very rarely ride in the water or mud, I typically stay on dry hard pack and trails and if I am in mud it is just slinging it around, I dont ride in mud holes

I noticed a small difference when i took mine off. And if you do choose to, I would recommend using an outerwears pre-filter

what id do is cut a whole in the lid and cover it with a outerwear. but when i got my quad it already had a knn lid filter.

i did a k&n with outer wear
cdi box
and a dg rcm chrome lite slip on
i dont think i need to rejet thing runs great
macanic told me not to rejet just mess with a/f screw
