Seems like a horse would be a lot more practical than one of the farmers who used the methane from cow poop to generate electricity to charge his electric ATV. Seems like it would be easier just to burn the methane in the ATV rather than convert it.

I think it's pretty cool. Even though I do not see it happening soon, oil and gas WILL eventually be hard to get. When it does happen I'd still like to ride. I've seen other electric atv attempts, but this one looks the best. It seemed pretty quick. Plus the guy from myth busters designed it.

an hour and a half on a full charge? i assume it takes more than an hour to charge aswell. haha seems like a waste of 15grand

They will get there. Look at rc cars, put a brushless motor in a rc car, it will blow away a nitro motor. Give it time, they will work the kinks out, get more run time, and more power. As well as get the price down.
