Ok, i got a D.I.D X-ring chain for x-mas. I have put chains on dirtbikes before so its not my first time. Ok, i got the chain on, but i cant get the master link to fully "click" together so i can get the clip on. It came with 4 o-rings fo te master link, is there any special way to put it on or something?

From what i remember with my friends you gotta really compress the link and then slip it on.

you put the o ring on either side of the chain then i took a pair of skiny neddle nose vise gribs and slowl got it to compress once you srat compresing it dont worry about it coming off once it compresses it stays compressed so just use some vice grips and slowly force it to compress the o rings it took my like an hour to figure this out but i think its the best way to do it\

You need to get a chain press. Rocky Mountain has them. They're cheap, and worth every penny.

I have compressed o ring chains with a small 1 inch C clamp
