I was always wondering why my friends and I always buy the 18x9.5x8 tamers? So I figured I would be courageous and order the 18x11x8 for my beadlocks. I figured my friends get the 9.5 size because they are already 50inches wide and barley makes it through the bars at the nationals anyway. So was this a bad idea or will it actually give me a little more with in the rear end? Anyone ever try this also?

skinny tires hook up better while fat tires slide nice

i was wondering if anybody thinks there is too much sidewall on the 18x11x8 turf tamers. are the 9.5's better or the 11's? i'm trying to decide whether to go with the new kenda klaws or the old turfs. i think i want the kenda klaws, i think they would do better in the trails then the turfs.

i think you'll like the wide tires better, you'll have more contact surface and more stability

yeah the wider ones are the ticket,,I've seen too many turfs bust a bead even on beadlocks at MX tracks..:huh
