Ordering new pipe need help

Ok ive been looking around and ive checked some prices i really like yoshimuras pipes ive had them before been seeing a lot of dasa's and started to come around to hmf...i started out wanting a slip on now it doesnt really matter now just want to be satisfied...dont really wanna pay over 500...rather it be a little on the quiet side starting to like going from full yoshi on my ltz 400 to the stock exhaust on the ltr 450 butthe sound isnt a deciding factor yall help me out let me know what yall got and what yall think all options open

k here we go, i have ran a yoshi system on my LTR's since i have had them, good pipe but eventually had to have a custom header for it to make a little more bottom end. Buddy of mine had a dasa and really liked it but it goes through the packing really, really fast and if you dont keep up with it the core will overheat and break in half but it makes the most hp for the LTR so you decide. Another buddy has an HMF on his and he has no complaints what so ever and says he loves it and it sounds pretty good. My other buddy thats on here, ltrRacer4, has an FMF on his and hates it. yeah man im not into the packing thing haha never done it but doesnt sound fun...fmf in my opinion should stay with 2 strokes...ive never had anything besides yoshimura...ok does your buddy with the hmf have a full exhaust or just a slip on...and does it compare to the dasa or the yoshimura

i have a hmf slip on and hate it its way to loud and sounds like crap so 2 weeks ago i bought a full titanium yosh off ebay for $314 and love it such a better sound and looks alot better

i really did want a fmf mega bomb header i just cant see spending the money on it

paying 314 for the titanium full pipe you bought it used jw? and whats the risks of buying a used pipe off of ebay i buy a lot but the pipe makes me nervous dont wanna buy a piece

Dasa is a little on the loud side...yoshimura makes a good pipe, but after 2 seasons with their full systems I switched to Dasa and honestly I am more impressed by the Dasa

yeah im not gonna lie id never repack my pipe so i dont need that dasa might just try to find me a good deal on a yoshi full exhaust still wondering bout hmf

I'm sure Yoshi and dasa are not the best pipes made you just see and here a lot about them same way elka shocks used to be.

Full exhaust HMF made better power than yoshi on the dyno. Dasa was better on top but HMF was better on bottom.

that dyno sheet helped out a lot do you have any others on the hmf and do you know if it was just a stock fourwheeler with the hmf or what all it had done to it?

ok i ordered my cherry bomb the other day and really liking this hmf and probally gonna get that i really like it so far whats the pros and cons of getting a slip on and a full exhaust i mean i was told full exhaust gives you maybe a 1/2 hp more might of heard bs correct me if im wrong i mean my quads not gonna be heavy modded just like a filter exhaust cherry bomb and that will prob. be it for awhile just wanna get an edge on the other 450s i ride with

thanks man that helps out a lot im just kind of wondering if its worth the extra cash because all the pipes should be mandrel bent so i dont see where you can add to much extra hp by getting the full exhaust it seems like the stock header should be just as good as an after market one...


and with the slip on is there a noticeable difference in that and the lid off and baffle out and the cherrybomb on?

i ordered it friday so it should be here soon but my fourwheeler is in the shop broke its a month old its messed up ha im pretty pissed

haha well i had a pretty modded ltz 400 and this is way faster than that it and its still fast to me ha so anything i will be pleased with ha you can never be to fast haha
