Im kinda new to the whole quad scene and learning as i go along so i need a little help..I have a 05 450R and im looking at buying these Hiper beadlocks for it...heres the description for it and im wondering if they will work??...

This auction is for a set( front and rear) Hiper beadlock wheels off my 1987 honda 250r. The front wheels are 10x5 single beadlocks (4+1) i belive the bolt pattern is 4/144 but not positive they are off 250r hubs. The rear pair are 8x8 double beadlocks (3+5) with built in hubs that slide on axle splines like a stock hub(there off a HONDA 250R AXLE) Very nice condition the set of all 4 was purchased just under 2 years ago and cost over $900.00 brand new and only used in summer time with low hours. There not cracked or deformed just have normal scratches from riding and could also use a good cleaning. They dont come with tires but they will come with the mud/dust covers for front wheels and there is valve stems still on the wheels. These work great for all types off riding, are very strong, light weight and make your wheeler look great! The bead locks rings are interchangeable and they make colors to match your wheeler.

Im pretty sure that the 250R axle hub splines are different than the 450R. So they wont work on you bike unless you change the hubs if possible which I dont know about the hipers.

I would avoid the integrated hubs if possible.

the 250r and 450r splines are different. I have 2 sets of 250r integrated hubs, they are good, except can be a pain if you switch tires alot. And you also have to check the axle nut so often for tightness. It doesn't take much for the splines to strip. There is nothing wrong with integrated hubs, its the user who is the problem. I have a set of 400ex/450r spline integrated hub centers, if you do get those hipers and want to trade the centers.

I think they discontinued making the integrated hub wheels. Call Highland Powersports, they have a set of 4 tech 3 race wheels for $680 shipped.

yeah, integrated hubs were stopped in late 05/early 06. Mostly it was due to how people didn't tighten the axle nut enough and caused them to strip out. It became too much of a warrantee issue. I know a guy on a yzf who stripped out 4 sets, hiper replaced them all. It turned out to be that he didn't tighten them up enough. Mine, every few times I ride, I put the impact gun on it and they usually move alittle. 5 years going and no problems for me.
