Hey Guys! I just picked up a brand new 2008 ltr and I am curious what I should get done/be aware of... I've already got these parts on order - full Yosh RS-5 and cherry bomb, K&N air filter kit, and nerfs... I hit up the dunes quite a bit and I am looking in to some track time and possibly a little mx racing... Thanks for the help!

Paddle tires are a must. Steering dampeners are awesome.

What did it cost out the door if you dont mind me asking?

Yeah, I'm getting a new set of sand stars for it soon... FYI out the door it cost me $5800 including all the extra parts. I'm happy with it... hey thanks for the reply!

You made out pretty well id say!! Alot depends on the budget and what kind of hp you desire.

budget isn't really a concern but horses are!) more power is just more fun in my book - or scary.... and for that price it took me quite a while to get them down

There are tons of quality builders or parts that will make your motor a screamer for sure! Id look into ATP Racing Engines, they do great work at a good price imo. Also I have heard good things from a newer company, Titan Motorworks, I personally have no experience but i know one of their ProAm guys got the holeshot at mill creek this weekend and I have heard good from everyone else who has been associated with him!

BCS Performance builds good motors also. I got 55 hp out of mine without going really crazy.
