View Full Version : Faulty Brake Light?
Maryland 400EX

The idiot that I bought my EX from didn't have a tail light so I bought a new one. Upon installing it and connecting the associated wiring, I noticed that applying the brakes does not make the light any brighter. Is the 400 EX just equipped with a rear light for safety or does the brake light actually work? If so then what in tarnation is wrong with mine? And yes, the wiring is hooked up right, I double checked.

As far as I know hitting the brakes doesn't make them light up. It is just there so people can see back of quad
it only turns on when the light switch is on, its not hooked up to the brake pedal like the zs and raptors and others

On my 07 mine stays on when you have the lights on, and when you brake it gets brighter.
