how much for tranny?

i need a 95 monte carlo tranny and have no idea how much one will cost and was wondering what the cost would be roughly or heck even if you have one, thanks.

Old friend of mine had a Z34. Tranny went, and it turned out cheaper to sell the car for salvage than bother fix it. I'm not sure where he was looking at prices, but he bought the car cheap and it was more trouble than it was worth to him.

I had a 97 lumina for a work car till i totalled it. The tranny went out of it. I found a used one in a salvage yard for 200 bones and it lasted 60,000 till the crash. Alot of thos cars use the same tranny so call around i bet you can find a deal somewhere

yah i heard the luminas would fit it too and i'm looking for used but i thought it might be around that.......been stuck inside my house for 5 months and ready to get out! any info appreciated.
