I've heard the trx450's need more maintenance than other atvs including checking the valves. I would appreciate some step - by - step instructions for checking/adjusting them.

Thanks

its a really easy job, 30 mins tops really, buy the honda manual, tells you step by step with pictures.

your not riding hard enough then, haha. mine are shot and need to be replaced after about 15-20 hours tops, i check them every couple of rides just to keep on top of it and they are usually good until they are shot. all of this is MX racing and im always near the rev limiter too

YEAH AND WE CAN ALL FLY LIKE SUPERMAN CAN TOO!!!

dude. seriously. do you even ride 100 hours in one year????

if you have 100 hours on a stock set of valves it must set and idle.

i toast valves in under 30 hours....intakes that is... i can see a set of exhaust possibly lasting 50 hours....
