Hey guys, relatively new to the forums. I was wondering if you had to re-jet the carb for a rev box or cams? because i know you have to re-jet for stuff like a pipe and air filter and things like that i just wasnt sure about a rev box or cams. reply please.

Nope, not for cams or a rev box.

Ok thank you for reply. and I've heard that a rev box is a good investment for the Z because of the low rev limiter at 8000 or something? so another 1000 or 2000 rpms would be a good improvement. and then the cams to help it rev out a little bit better? haha

Im not a pro or mechanic or anything but if i HAD to guess i would say that u do have to rejet with cams. Usually people will use something around a 155 main for just filter and exhaust. (thats also what my kfx is) Now with my dvx, i think im at a 175 main but im waiting for warmer weather to tune it but i do know that a 168 is not enough fuel (also i am unable to adjust the e-clip on the needle). I have a filter, exhaust, and cams in that (for air) the cams i believe put more air through the engine, hence a more fuel. but agian im not a pro
