Gas Hog??

Is it just me or does anyone else think that their 400ex is a gas hog? Seems like mine sucks gas as fast as I fill er' up. I've only had it since Thanksgiving and I love it!!! Feels good to be riding again!!

mine is the opisite (sp) I can ride it forever before I have to fill it up

I think that 400ex are ex-gas hog in my opinion you canr ide them from forever from what I hear

A 400ex has excellent gas milage unless you have something wrong with yours. My blaster probably gets half the gas milage a 400ex does;) but seriously its bad.

You will get used to it and after awhile you will be happy to pay for gas to keep it going. Unless they keep raising the prices.

I think i get about 55 miles on a tank, I'm either full open or standin on the binders:D

so what that aalmost 20 minles per gallon thats pretty good. Or how big it the tank?

Maybe it's just me. Maybe next time I will make sure I top it off when I fill it up.:D

I was getting 19miles per gallon out of mine last time i checked it :p It's a hole lot better than my Dale on fuel:rolleyes:

On the EXriders ride at Wolfpen park, we made a 74 mile trip, out of 11 400EX's i believe only 2 ran outta fuel, and after checking their air filters we found that they were pretty dirty causing the decrease in mileage,,,Chris's 500EX made it fine on fuel and he was riding really hard the whole way (that thing is a BEAST!!!),,,i normally don't even look in the tank till after i have at least 60 miles on that tank of gas,,,later
