I’ve got a 04’ KFX 400. When the petcock is on it dies after a while. When I turn to prime or reserve it runs great. Looks like when petcock is in the on position it isn’t getting enough fuel. I pulled the petcock from the tank, blew it out lightly nothing inside. Looked at the diaphragm in the back looks ok. There are two tubes attached to it. One longer than the other with screens on top. I’m sure the longer one is for the on position. Is there a way I can try to clean this tube out without breaking it? Also is there a replacement tube that I can change? I don’t know how it is attached are they pressed in or screw on or is the whole petcock one part? They look like they can break easily.
Oh and yes I was a Dumb A**, Yes I left fuel in it all winter without starting it. Hindsight is always 20/20.:macho :macho :macho
