Well, my sis got a digital camera for christmas, so I borrowed it for a little bit. Im a pretty bad photographer but anyways....

I just wanted to show everyone a couple pics of my Protec skid after 3 years of abuse. I have hit just about everything possible. This skid is resposible for murdering numerous rabbits.
It has bent up a little since it was new, but hasnt rubbed the rotor or chain yet. One of the gussets is a little bent and it has a small crack by the weld. The rotor side corner got bent up a little bit too.
If you look up in the top left corner, in the second pic the rust spot is where my swingarm had to be welded from when it cracked.
I strongly suggest a Protec skid, imagine if this thing was aluminum

Im fully aware the 400EX does not have reverse, wich was one of the major reasons for me not buying it. But you see my 300EX pictured above does have reverse, and while using it one day I believe I backed into a rock. Hope that clears things up.
