how do u paint the frame a new color

im new to owning a quad i bought a 2003 predator for my 1st quad and i want to paint the frame red whats the best way to do this???

powder coating is your best option, but if its an old junker that u just want to make look a lil better, spray paint works, but doesnt hold up well at all

Powder coat is definatley the best route to go on changing your frame colour but it is pricy and for alot of people is not an option. I helped a freind of mine paint his frame last year. Give it a good sand, apply some primer, wet sand with a fine grit (over 200), then spray a quality paint over it. Automotive paint works great if you have a compressor.
