Polaris 2 stroke

On the ol Polaris 400 2 strokes, have coolant leaking into the the counterbalancer crankcase. Anybody savvy enough with these engine to tell me where the coolant is coming from...base gasket or somewhere else? Just trying to figure out whether to tear apart or not.

I would say it's tear down time. Just to be safe do all new gaskets

I agree but I'd like to have an idea of where it is leaking before I tear it down. I've done the top end on this before but that's been a few years and I don't remember how the old engine is designed.

Just trying to get an idea of what to look for before I start the job, or whether to even mess with it and scrap the machine out.
