i have really small thumbs and i need something that sticks out further so i can ride my yfzr more comfortably i ride mx so i dont want anything to big

get a 400ex throttle and run a loop wire in the TPS(throttle position sensor) works really nice

there is a wire that goes to your throttle not really sure what it does lol..... but i just just cut that and spliced it together...if you need a pic of any other info let me know

ok just went and looked and since i cut the wire a pic wouldnt really help.. but its a black plug in your wiring harness(not from the throttle) it has a brown wire and a red and black wiring runing into it. if you follow the wire coming out of your throttle you will find it. i just cut it and ran a loop in the wire. anymore questions feel free to ask.

I extended my wife's YFZ450 and son Raptor 250 thumb throttle with ordinary garden hose.
It does not look the best but it cost nothing, you can cut the length that suits you. They are very happy with the mod saying it made the world of difference.

No, it does not come of. If you use the right size garden hose for your thumb throttle, you will not be able to get the hose on when it is cold. Just heat the one side of the hose in a cup of boiling water for about a minute (allow the hose to stretch) and then press it over the thumb throttle lever. As soon as the hose has cooled down it shrinks to the lever and comes off very difficult.

yep the stock honda thumb throttle is the best fix for any quad without one
