I know this has been covered time and time again/ and i have searched high and low and cant seem to find what the problem is/ I have an 87 250x it has fmf megamax pipe with i believe about 10 discs and the cap on it, a k&n filter with no lid, i live in south jersey at almost sea level, it had a 130 main jet and a 35 pilot,needle in the middle it pops bad, runs hot doesnt like to idle until about 45 mins after riding it, and then it idles high, of course right , took it apart, found the intake boot that goes to the head was split, so i replaced it, picked up a 125 main jet, a 135 main jet and a 40 pilot, any recomendations on a good starting point would be great.... i think i have read every post tagged with carb/ jetting/ airbox...:ermm:
