I can't get my 400 to fire and I figured out I'm not getting a spark. What could cause this? Hopefully not the stator, I don't have an extra 200 laying around:ermm:

i'm not too savy on the electrics either. i had all mine done by a hellofa mechanic in about 3 minutes. but my issue was dummy switches. we have two. nuetral sensor and clutch sensor. either one of those won't let the spark travel to the plug. the mech. asked if i had the exploded view of the wiring and i did. he just started looking at colors. started cutting meanwhile he was speaking japanese to me explaining what he was doing but i got the big picture. if either one of them was interupted then it wouldn't fire.
But !!! if you do need another stator, i got one. or a flywheel. or hell both.

So the you are saying the wires up by the clutch perch could have came loose? And a different spark plug doesn't work either

Just tried my brothers coil which I know works, so it's not that. Checked all connections, grounds, and anything else i could think of. I think it's gonna end up being the stator.
