I'm looking to go back to a quad, a local guy has a 2004 660 Raptor he'll trade for my 2004 CRF450r. Now i'm used to the power and feel of the '04 trx450r so how will the '04 660 Raptor compare to feel and power of the '04 trx450r ? Any issues with the '04 Raptors? Any imput would help.

Thanks, Mike

I would keep your crf and hold out for a 450 fourwheeler. You would probably be disapointed on the handling of the raptor.

I agree ^^^

I had a Raptor for a few years. I have nothing bad to say about it. But was not comfortable with the handling. It usually sat in the garage while I rode my LT250R. I traded the rappy for my LT-R450, and couldn't be happier! If you were used to and happy with a 450, I would wait and get another one. The Raptor was fun... But that is about all I could say for it.

Exactly what he said! Not rippin on the Rappy but I think you'd be better off on a 450!

Is the handleing the only down fall. How woud you compare it to say a 400ex?

It,s pretty good at climbing lots of power handling is tippy but for big guy not bad the only issues with the 04 rap was the trans, electrical problem other than that its not that bad ,but there,So many quads now for sale I would hold out for 450 with mods or Z400 with mods IMO!

Topheavy and hillclimbing = hillbarrelrolling.
