I haven't been keeping up with motorsports quite as much as I used to but I just seen the new episode of nitro cirus last night where Jim Dechamp succesfully pulled off a frontflip on a bike(dirtbike, not bicycle) to dirt, I knew he had attempted it before at the xgames and into the foam pit but seen the only one to dirt last night. Old news?

i kinda have mixed feelings now after watching nitro circus, travis just seems to have this cocky/i'm everything/forget you attitude sometimes to the minor degree.

We stayed in the same hotel as Travis Pastrana saturday night after St. Louis supercross, and we ran into him in the hotel lobby at 3am, and he was awesome. He talked to us for about 10 minutes, he asked us where we were from and if we rode. Then we talked about the race earlier that night, he was a really cool down to earth guy.

Jim DeChamp did front flip to dirt on Nitro Circus last night.

exactly. the guy has accomplished more then some of these top riders put together. first double back flip, one of the freestyle industry leaders. aswell as a previously accomplished motocross racer.

i say he can be a little cocky :p

He has the right to be cocky as hell, I think he's pretty down to earth. Compare him to Deegan, Nate Adams or all those other clowns that do FMX. He's put in the time, has the talent and seems fairly modest.

10 donuts in 15 seconds? I bet most anyone who rides quads could beat that one.

I really don't think he is that cocky that's why I like him...He always wants to help his friends push themselves to achieving things they would have never tried alone... Thats the premise of the show to show people nothing is impossible its just having the balls to try something that people say cant be done.....if he was that cocky the show would be just him doing tricks all the time...I think he is really down to earth unlike most riders that are cocky.....He is a really gifted person and has done alot of things a normal person wouldn't do...so yeah I would prolly be more cocky then he is if I had done all that before....
Thats my opinion...:macho

I think its funny how almost all these people on here said the front flip was impossible. I knew it could be done.

I knew it was going to happen. I just said homeboy on his 400ex will never do it. Takes skill and a little knowledge and that's something mr. 400ex front flip guy doesn't have.

Did anyone hear anything else of him? I remember someone found his myspace page and the whole quad community exploited it pretty bad

I remember seeing him on some quad video trying to do it into a foam pit and he was lucky to have even got off the ramp. He didn't even come close to 1/32th of the rotation needed for that but since then who knows?
