do I need a himson basket?

I'm getting my 2001 xr250 bored out to a 280, ported/polished, webcam, 10.5-1 piston do I need a hinson basket? How long will my stock basket last?

it should last. most people who modify their 400ex's don't get any new clutch parts right away, and i haven't heard of anybody having problems with stock clutches after mods.
