New HMF on Z400

I Just put on my HMF that i got for christmas and i am ridin it and when i get in the higher RPMs it cuts out like either the packing is waring in or im hittin the rev limiter. I DON'T KNOW. Help me out.

Most likly you need to rejet your carb.

Sounds like you are hitting the rev. limiter.

if u didn't rejet then u need to. the z's are really sensitive to any changes. my friend took his airbox lid off w/o jetting and it ran like crap.
