Built 416, 440

Looking to buy a complete already built engine. 416/ 426/ 440 etcc. Let me know what you have. I really dont want to go throught the hassle of having one built.

i wouldn't recommend this idea. when you build a motor they will do exactly what you want, tell you the jetting, pipe set-ups, etc.

plus, if you buy someones previously built motor it could have been abused, neglected or be near the point of rebuilding anyways.

Yeah I would just go through the time and trouble of doing it yourself. That way you know the motor inside and out and make sure that its done right.

YUP. It would be much better to do it that way, I did mine and not only do you know it is done right you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. It is fun to go from one machine to a whole new machine when you are done and watch the progression as you go. Steve
