hey whats up. i got my bike all together and when i turn the key nothing happens, and when i press the button nothing happens. however if i use a screwdriver to connect the cellinoid wires then it turns over. i switched out the cellinoid and the same thing happened, is it possible that if a cellinoid just sits there its no good anymore? does anybody else have an idea on what it could be? thanks!

You could have some wires crossed from the key, start button and kill switch. Also make sure your ground is clean.

It could be a fuse

the fuse is good, i tryed another one, all the grounds are tripole checked, wires are all color coated so those are all set...any other ideas?

check your kill switch wiring, check your ground on your kill switch, check your ground on the frame with the coil, switch out your solenoid.

I had this same thing happen to me on my rebuild. It cast me a couple hundred bucks in batteries starters and all that. Make sure you ground the wire that used to run to the neutral sensor. I just cut mine off and took the sensor out then replaced it with a bolt and didnt realize it was a main ground wire. Once i figured it out i grounded that wire and it fired right up.

i got it so it starts but now its having a tough time starting up, i have a 13.5:1 piston, cam,port/polish and +1 exhaust valves and it almost seems sometimes like the starter is just spinning and not catching anything, any chance the decompression might not be set right?

what cam are you running? when i went with a HCII i had to end up setting my decompressor real wide. like .022 or something if i remember right. Just a couple thousandths makes a big difference

This is something I have seen alot on these and other forums higher compression harder starting. I have even seen some people covert to kickers because of it. I hope you get it figured out man, good luck-JOEYD
