Went down on the R1

Yesterday me and a couple of buddies decided to take a scenic ride up to and around lake bartlett in cave creek. Well I was riding the R1 and came around a slow left hander and she hit sand and out from under me she went. Luckily all that needs replacing is the right side fairing and right side lower fairing.

I also got a little road rash on the right arm. A lesson to all... ALWAYS WEAR YOUR RIDING JACKET!!!

Luckily you're alright. Road bikes can be very unpredictable. You never know when there's gonna be a rock, oil spot, pot hole right around the corner.

That sucks to hear, but at least you are ok. Not to jack the thread or anything but do any of you sportbike riders out there know of any sportbike forums. I just purchased 97 gsxr 600 (thats what it is titled as), but it has a 99 gsxr 750 fi dropped in it.
