Head bolt came loose>?

So i just got done ice racing and noticed that my head/cam cover bolt was loose on the 400. tried to spin and turn it back down but wont tighten? what could this be you think? overheated? how big of a job am i looking at? any help or advice is helpful thanks

it sounds like the threads are stripped. get a helicoil kit. an easy repair except for the disassembly required to make sure you dont get any shavings in your motor.

It matters which one it is. Some are easier to fix than others. If its a long one its the hardest one.
