I have a 08 Z400 I just want to get some opinions on what jet sizes would get me close to the right jetting. I have a stage 2 DG xcellerator slip on exhaust, K&N with outerwears and the air box lid removed and a dyno jet kit I am at about 1420 ft with temp being about 70 - 90 any advice is greatly apreceated

Read what the dyno jet kit direction says thats the best way then adjust jet sizes up or down for best results, thats what I did.

I've been looking around and found a lot of post about jetting but I really cant find anything thats fits my situation, anyways what do you think of a

170 dj main

25 pilot mikuni

and about 2.5-3 on the screws

What attitude/mods(pipe/airfilter) do you have to run that high of a main jet?just seems too big and whats it running like?

I dont think 170 is right either but I started with a 165 and worked down to a 150 and I'm still getting stumbles across the power band but I found that Ihave an exhaust leak so that might be a contributor I fixed it though going to mess around with the jetting this weekend

Here's a pretty good one, a little lenghty but, for proper jetting you should be doing plug chops. It will yield a better jet steup.
