I have an 03 with a Bud Fischer built motor it has a +4mm crank, stock bore namura piston. with 12:1 compression. It's an mx setup with tires and wheels being fr 20x10 and rears 18x8. Thanks Jason

I would try the 15 38 and see if you like it with the stroker. Otherwise go to a 14 and it should mx really nicely. It will really rip out of corners with that set up. Just my .02 though. steve

Agreed that you should start stock. you will have to see how much it revs out at the top of 2nd thats how I know what sprocket to use for how I'll be riding. For tighter trails and short run courses the 14 up front gives bottom but will rev up even faster. If you are losing too much top end use the 15.

Dont use the 14. Its pointless to use that on a stroker. Use 15/38 and see how you like it. With mine at 15/38 and 18" rears I top out at 77mph on the stock rev limit so for most tracks you have plenty up top and more than enough down low.

The stroker favors slightly taller gears from my experience. Try 15/38 first, you might want to try 15/37 as well.

On my stroker running 18" rears I like 16/39 the best. Stock 15/38 gearing revs out too quick for my tastes with 18" rears but that's me. Stock is a 2.53:1 final drive ratio, with the 16/39 its 2.44:1 so a little taller, but I like it since i'm not shifting and revving out so much.
