I have been a quad rider/ local racer for about 3 years now. I recently picked up a 06 crf450, still keeping the quad. I thought I would try something different and so far I enjoy it. The only problem is I am a beginner on a dirt bike and I suck. I have been thinking about going to a 250 to learn to ride better. I have an opportunity to get a 08 demo kxf250 w/ 11hrs on the total bike. It had a top end rebuild and new tires. Its 3999 and they are giving me 2650 for my 06. What do you think of the deal. Also will a 250 be enough bike for me. I am 6'0" and about 205lbs. I work out and am in decent shape. But remember I am a beginner on a bike.
