Finally my quad is running

my mechanic friends figured out my fuel to air mix ratio or something was bad in the carb. some bs. whatever. well...the quad is running. it doesnt like to sit idle for more than like 10 seconds and then stalls out. is this a common problem?

mine did tht i cleaned the carb then adjusted the throttle in the carb and tweaked with the idle and bam idles fine now... before it wouldnt idle without the gas held on .. i tried adjusting idle work for 5 min then back to normal and figured out it was the adjustment of throttle in carb
