I was thinking and was wondering If someone could answer this question ,would a fan on top of airbox pulling air in and as you push throttle fan gets faster .would it give more power?just an Idea!

similar to a forced air induction such as a supercharger.

I would think there would be some kind of gain, but you would have to make sure the fan was mud-proof.

I was thinking of the same fan as the radiator fan its bullet proof, and have dimmer switch on throttle to control fan speed, wonder if its been done?

the only problem i see is getting the fan to speed up and slow doewn with your throttle control especially of you race and your on and off the gas constantly but even if you dont have it speed up and slow down and just have it push air in that gota be the greatest idea ive heard for the air box if you can cut the seat out to fit it good luck if you try it

remember that a motor can only flow so much air. i personally dont think it will make that much difference if any at all.
i know a guy who tryed to put a fan in the intake tube of his mustang. didnt really do anything to it. superchargers work great because they put so much boost into an engine.
