Working on a LT80 for a friend, he removed the cylinder & brought it to me. The piston & cylinder are in decent shape but the bottom rod bearing has a ton of play left to right and a little up & down. I would assume the rod & bearing needs replaced but wanted some opinions if this is normal or not & what may have casued this. The quad doesnt appear to have a ton of hours on it...... Any help would be great

They usually wear forever.
From what you say, I agree that it needs fixxed.
Why it's like that:: either too much dirt or too little oil. LOL
It's really hard to say.

Lake County....Up by Cleveland? If so, we're close.

Thanks for the reply. We are close, I work in Kingsville, OH. Is there anywhere I can get instructions on removal of the injector pump & just run pre-mix? What do you mean by too much dirt?

Dirt: It's possible that the air filter may have let dirt in, maybe neglect or whatever.

To remove the injection, you must remove the clutch cover and pull a lil black plastic thing off the end of the crankshaft. That's what drives it.
You can then just plug the line going into the carb.
