? about amsoil dominator

was thinking about using amsoil dominator , my ? is do i have to use it at 50:1 or can i use it at say 32:1. because it says on it use as an injection oil or 50:1 pre mix , so i dont know if that means thats the only ratio u shoul pre mix

we use amsoil dominator and mix 32:1. Never had any problems. I wont use any thing else

Their recommended ratio is 50:1, you can mix it at any ratio you desire, just remember that synthetic oils have superior lubricating qualities when compared to dinosaur oils. Opinions vary about mix ratios and everyone has their magic ratio that is right for them so their really is no wrong answer. I started using Redline products in my machines 15 years ago and talked to their tech rep and their oils are designed to be mixed at 80-120:1 !!! they told me any ratio lower than 80:1 was just wasting oil. I mix at 50:1 for my piece of mind and because it's an easy ratio to mix for 5 gals of gas. I have never had or heard of any detrimental effects of mix ratios using synthetic oils, usually failures are due to bad jetting.

I once had a friend tell me I was nuts because my 250r plainly says 32:1 right on the gas tank so why would you mix it any different. I simply stated if I was using oil from 1988 when my R was new I would but oil technology is not the same as back then. The oil manufacturer determines the proper mix ratio not the machine your putting it in.

My bottom line and opinion is mix 12 ounces to 5 gals of gas, 50:1, jet properly and rrrriiidde!!:D

Paul @ 609 customs and Paul @ Wiley Mods both recommended this oil to me, I mix 4 ounces to a gallon in a stock Apex 90.No probs.:)

I mix at 2.6 oz per gallon. I believe that's 50-1. Never had a problem.
