I see all of the threads about using a 450 carb on the 400ex. Has anyone used the 450 carb on a 400 that is piped, with no internal motor work??? Is there an improvement??
I am new to bikes, most of my motor experience is with cars( 1971 dodge challenger and camaros) I know what happens if you put too much carb on a motor that can't handle it.

Many people have done this on a bone stock motor and have reported that it is a good mod.

My bike is piped with no engine mods. It's a great upgrade. The stock carb is junk.
