has anyone ever put a hmf slip on pipe on a 400ex and didnt have to rejet? i just put mine on and it seems to run good, i havent rejet it yet because i didnt get the right jets with it and I cant seem to get to the bottom of the carb where i could get the jets out.

it has just very lil popping on deceleration.

should i go ahead and rejet or leave it like it is.

Rejet. You dont want it to pop AT ALL

Especially the HMF being pretty free flowing rejet it. It may seem to run fine but I bet it runs much better with atleast the next jet size up.

would i just need to change the main or do i need to change the fuel screw and the pilot?

I would turn the fuel screw about 1/4 turn out since its popping alil on decel, and call hmf and ask them what they recommend for your elevation and all that.
