Hey guys just got done rebuilding motor. pretty much all broke in and running good. Now all of a sudden its smoking like crazy and burning anti freeze. My question is, is it leaking through the head or is it coming from water pump? i dont wanna take off the head if its the water pump and i dont wanna take off the water pump if its the head. All help is appreciated.
Thanks

the only way it can get into the head is from the head gasket. Are you running a o-ring head or a gasket type head. If your running a o-ring type. pull it off and check for anythign that looks wrong. if your runnign a gasket type. check other things first. So it just does this randomly? or when it gets hot. try takin the cap off the radiator and just laeving it have screwed on. does it still do this?

Its a o ringed head esr cylinder and head. It does it the whole time be seems to get worse as it warms up. hope its just the head.

When I got my ESR cyl, it leaked. I had to send it back, and get it fixed from them.

if its the water pump it would most likely drain into the clutch housing, if your cases are good and your cylinder are good its either your head gasket or your baseplate gasket.

No, They said they had a casting flaw from Pro-X, said they had to machine it, true it up, or something like that?????
