what ya think. i got a buddy who wants to trade plastics, his is stock 05 black, and mine are stock 04 red. what do you think would look better, and i will be keeping my quad tech hood

Red looks nice, don't trade. And if you do decide to cut the front fenders, please just drill the rivets and pull them off. Don't cut em. It looks so much cleaner that way.

i had a red 04 and now have a black 06 (now orange). in the 2 years of xc racing w/the red 04 the scratches werent half as bad as 3 races with the black 06. only downfall of the black is it shows scratches really bad, but if you arent worried about that, all black 450s do look pretty sweet.

you could trade your red fronts for black fronts, or red backs for black backs. I think the red front fenders and black back fenders would look cool. but that's my opinion.
