no spark... read old threads no help

ehh i got a 05 450r... well one night i was riding put it away for the night.. realizing it wasnt getting good spark anymore.. well next day went to start it and it would start die.. start die.. and then the next day there was no spark at all i started with the grounds at the coil box checking everything over... nothing wrong.. checked the wire nothing.. how can i check the cdi box if its a kick start.. anything else i should look at.. if u guys could help tht would be great...

are you positive its not getting spark? did you pull the plug out, put on the cap, put it up to some metal and kick it? I bet if you do have spark, its your carb. I'll bet your pilot jet is clogged.

no spark at all even bought a new plug put it on the head and scraped the frame and tried it...i checked the kill switch its fine dno wht else to do.. dno how it lost spark over night... unless it blew up

could it be the stator?

Mine did that and it was the stator.

First we will have to find out if the 06 stator will work in an 05 motor, if so i will sell it for 120 shipped. they are 200 + new. the one i have came out of a new 06 and was replaced by a ricky stator one for HID lights.

its kool my friend will sell one for 110 for 05... but thanx for the help guys we will see if this works..
