What is some recommended oil brands to use? I am going to start doing my own changes now and I want some opinions?

I have used Honda GN-4 10w-40 religiously for three years without any problems. In fact, when I tore the engine down about a month ago, I was impressed with how clean the engine was and how good all the cam lobes, bearings, etc. looked.

After the rebuild is complete, I will continue using this oil.

i have a question about my bike and oil. my 300ex is about a year old now and ive always ran honda gn4 10w40 oil in it and changed regularly. all this talk about synthetics and mobil 1 makes me want to change to a diff oil such as mobil but i am afraid that maybe since ive had my bike for about a year now that my clutch might start slipping. does anyone that runs mobil have problems with clutch?? thanks
