Well I removed the spark arrestor on my HMF Sport slip on about 2 months ago, I want to put it back in, which way does it go, the radius of the mesh facing the motor or facing the tip of the muffler which means I could see the mesh and touch it with my finger ???

It would be concave towards the engine. Hump in not out. :blah:

I am going to put it in, I never ran it with it in, going to see if it gives me a little more grunt down the bottom.

is it best for the spark arrestor to be in or off the pipe? How to you put it on? take the tip off?

Yes you have to remove the tip just like the stocker.

In some riding areas you are required to have one in. Its to prevent forest fires, you haven't see the LMAO commercial.:devil:
