crf coolant leak??

started up my crf the other say and saw that it is leaking under the water pump. It looks like it is coming out of the small hole. Doea that mean I need a new pump seal?

It couldn't mean acouple things, that little hole is your "puke" hole. If you have recent had your motor rebuilt, a seal that separates your "mid" part of your engine. It might possible be not placed right. Thus making coolant mixing with tranny and engine oil and leaking out that hole. Do not ride it if this is so, your spark plug could mold to your head. If it's just coolant its more than likely just the water pump seal. Please take my suggestion seriously, I'm going through the same problem :p
