haha..well I never know and try to treat everything as if it is needed right away without rushing the work.

i've seen folks send me stuff and need it the next day only to find out its a spare part just because other companies in general drag their feet (suspension, engine etc)

I see soem fo thes eparts were chromed...I willd o my best to make everything come out smooth as the chrome was in pretty rough shape on a few parts

the chrome being in such rough shape is why i'm sending it to you.... I can't ride a quad with pieces of chrome flapping in the breeze. I'll be lucky to get it all back together by the end of this summer anyway, lol.

Picked up teh swinger and 1 linkage from having bearings removed this morning, then promptly FORGOT to leave it at the strippers when I was there. I have to go back there tomorrow so no biggie:p

Once its back from stripping, I will shoot your entire batch.

I think you just wanted an excuse to go back to the stripper, lol. I ordered all the bearings from JB yesterday, so i'm hoping they won't take forever and i'll priority them to you. Also..... (You're gonna hate me by the time i'm done with my build) I picked up a set of new walsh a-arms.... BUT they are blue, and blue doesn't match my color scheme of eternal darkness. Would it be possible to get all the bearings and seals out of a new set of a-arms and just re-use em? Because I want to have you PC them black and don't want to buy all new bearings and ball joints (I have a feeling for the a-arms they will be pricey) (I wasn't worried about the 20 dollar bearings getting junked in that linkage) Lemme know!!! Thanks

All I can do is hand the arms to my brother and tell to do his best (he always does, but he does hate the one type of delron??? bushing haha)

Yep, bearings are here. I took my stitches out today, and by monday i feel i can get my hand in the blasting gloves to prep the head and cylinder. I want to be the one prepping them, cody is pretty good but he hasnt ever done those parts:p

Can we switch to 36 hour days? It's 12:30 and i'm just getting on the computer. Pappy, I just bought a new house and I closed last Thursday, so that's my excuse for not shipping the Walsh a-arms yet. Here's the kicker, the house I bought, already has an MX track out back on the acreage. That alone was the selling point for me. How is all my other stuff doing?

ok, that's fine. I have a question, I can't get 1 bearing out of the case. It's the inside needle bearing for the oil pump shaft (as seen in the picture) Can you just put a plug in it? Or should I send it out to get removed?

It should be ok, I will plug it off before prep and before coating......but you will want to repack the bearing with grease before reassembly etc

Alright, I shipped the:
a-arms - gloss black powdercoat
engine cases (plug the 1 hole) - gloss black powdercoat
tie rods - gloss black powdercoat
nerf bars - gloss black powdercoat
oil cooler - black moly coat (not in a hurry for this because I have to put the whole motor back together first)

I shipped the arms and insured them. They told me at the post office that someone at your place will need to sign for them when they go to drop them off. Delivery will be around 5 days. Any questions let me know. Thanks!!!

I actually don't live in temperance anymore, my parents still live there. I live in Columbus Michigan now. But, I have been using the post office to ship all my stuff and the prices are significantly cheaper than UPS or fedex.

Arms at my brothers being disassembled and then off to stripping. I am having a huge issue with my main compressor and I think I am just gonna have to replace it for times sake($2000 ouch)

Everything now is in wash/phosphate stage. That will be completed this evening. Then I will start masking everything and start shooting tomorrow.

They are fogged with oil so the flash kind of makes it look weird:p

Also, the only item I cant locate is the oil cooler. I dont have any here so yours would be the only one....did you send it?

Everything is done except the pegs, nerf bars and one other small part....and ofcourse the oil cooler.

Not to bad considering the chrome and underlying metal surface. Once assembled she will look like a peach
