Ever go to the dunes ??? How does it compare to other bikes ???

when he had it working i think he said there was more power than he expected, and he was running it lean and he blew the motor

I couldnt be more happier! I bleive its a 92mm x 6mm,,,,,,,I think anyway!! But as far as power goes, even in the dunes,there isnt much to compare it to!!! I had it running extremely lean and blew the head gasket,,,even though it was my fault Tom is fixing it for free and even throwing me a new throttle cable in for free since I burned a hole through it by running it under the heat shield instead of on top like its suppposed to be!! So you cant really beat that, Tom is an awesome guy!!! As far as over heating, well it gets hot as with any bored motor the size of mine will, but with the bigger oil tank, air scoops, and methanol, Im sure I wont have any problems!!

Chad, you should look into those oversize fins from EX's Only (I believe thats who does it)...their suppose to work extremely well ;)

it's xr's only;) www.xrsonly.com i was goin to get them while i was doing the 426 but #7 advised against it said the motor would run to cool resulting in a loss of power but they would be great for the 505 and it's only 250:D

Did you have it in the dunes on gas ???

Is you cyclender cast iron or nikisil ???

What type of bikes were beating you ???

I have a 12.5:1 piston in it so Tom reccomended I run at least VP C-14 or C-14 plus,,,I had C-14 plus in it at the dunes! Im not sure what the Cylinder( I think you mean sleeve?) is made out of? There werent any bikes there that were beating me except my friends 350R Powervalve on alky,,,but I was hanging with him!!! The only thing i got to race that I could almost compare to was a Z-400 with a Yoshi 450 kit, porting, cams and all that in it and he wasnt even really getting close!!! Really there wasnt anybody there with a bike to really compare it too,,,,but,,,there is always someone faster!!!!
