i bought a lot of 250r items from a guy and he says that this is for a 250r also but from what i see you would have too cut the subframe off is this fir a 250r 400ex or 450r ?????? let me know if anyone can use this shoot me an offer or trade???? need some parts for my rebuild thanks

Could be a 250R sub frame for an aftermarket chassis and used for TT Racing. Is that aluminum?

bolt on subframes are not uncommon on aftermarket frames and ive also seen homemade subframes made to bolt on when a repair is done. is there any markings on it? if you can find out what frame it matches it would be easier for you to sell.

CT used to make an aluminum subframe for the stock 250R frame back in the day. You had to cut off your stock steel subframe and do a little fabricating to mount it up.

Ct doesn't sell that anymore, I called about it some 5 years ago. They used to sell alot of different parts. I have a article from a 85 or 86 3&4 wheels and they had a ultra lite atc250r project. Aluminuim front hub, subframe, engine bolt kit, mugen cylinder, I think they used a cal-fab swingarm, light weight 10" front rim and something else. They don't sell any of that anymore and he told me it has been the longest time since anybody has called about those or subframes for the trx's, he doesn't think they would even make them anymore. Consider this is 5 years ago and r's were starting their decline and now its getting harder to find parts of r's and few of the new designs are being done for r's.

That is a CT aluminum subframe. I had one on my 89 TRX. Must have bought that thing somewhere around 1995.

anybody think they would want this or know someone who does let know i have no use for it but willing to trade for other 250r stuff
