i was wondering what carb would be a good but cheaper upgrade on a kfx its got a 440 big bore with pipe and k&n

I recommend the JD Jetting kit. That is what I am running. It works great. Its a bit pricey but worth it IMO. Also I am running the ZipTy fuel screw. It makes tuning a ton easier. You are also going to need to give CarbPartsWarehouse a call for a cable. They make one that converts the fcr to the stock z400 thumber. Then a 400EX airboot. Other than that I think you should be set.

You can also get the airbox eliminator from ESR. Here is what mine looks like.

As an extra bonus, get yourself a 400ex throttle if you run the yfz450 throttle cable. I ran the entire YFZ450 setup on my DVX400 and it about killed me at my first race. After my first lap that was 7 miles long, I was barely able to give it gas in the straightaways.

that prefilter looks huuuuuge, im used to seeing the one on the little lt80 haha

dont think ill be touching down on mods for my 08z400 for a while
