Man you did a hell of a nice job on this quad. The colors are my favorite an you got all the rite stuff on there too like rath, walsh, an fox. Im gettin ready too start building my quad an no joke man i was gonna do mine the exact same, color wise an products wise. The only thing that was gonna be different was i was gonna use axis pro air shocks. haha but man ill choose some new colors, cus you did one hell-ave a job on this. Out of 100 percent, ill give you a 1,000 man. good luck for the 09 season.

I set the ride height today along with installing a tag metals skidplate, it was pretty much right were it needed to be with me sitting on it.

What did you set your ride height to? Just curious.

Front is right at 6 1/2 and rear is about the same.

That's low...definetely doesn't look that low. I think you should be about 7" in the rear and a 1/4" to 1/2" higher up front. ;)

guess it comes down to personal preference and track conditions i run 8 1/4 to 7 3/4 front to back

That quad looks amazing. To me it resembles Casey Martins quad alot.. Where is Hickman kentucky at and where all do you ride at man? Im right on the ohio river and ride anywhere i can find within a couple hour drive.

i would also like to kno how oyu got the lettering on the can like that

TWILLIAMS16
03-30-2009, 04:35 PM
duneboy64 & elementryder, i just took a regular dasa big core exhaust can, painted it with a high temp flat black paint and got 50 small dasa stickers made and installed them in rows. If done i would recommend installing the stickers first and then applying the paint, after the paint dries, peel the stickers off, because after last weekends race it burnt alot of the stickers off.

Why didnt you just peice a bike together rather than spend the money for a stock bike and take everything off of it

From my experience that would be nothing but a major headache. Starting with a brand new quad is so much easier. He could have started with a used one since he wasn't building a show quad, but it is nice to have a brand new one, that way when you sell it, it's much better to put it back to stock and part the aftermarket stuff out.
